why china?we understand that some players might be hesitant about guitars made in china. it’s something we were aware of from the start. this project was about finding a way to build high-quality aluminium-neck guitars without the boutique price tag or the 12+ month wait. that meant thinking differently about how – and where – we build most of the aluminium guitars out there today are made by builders who wear a lot of hats. they’re not just luthiers – they’re designers, machinists, and more. they do everything themselves, and that level of work deserves the price it carries. we’re not trying to do the same thing. our goal was to take that spirit and build a more accessible aluminium guitar, aiming to bring more people into the space after years of research and working closely with chinese factories – and with ronny on board – we’re confident we’ve got it right. he works directly with the factory, builds the guitars, and personally signs off on each one. these aren’t mass-produced knock-offs – they’re made by a small team who genuinely give a shit

what type of pickups do you use?all klang guitars are fitted with pickups hand wound by ronny. we currently offer p90s and p90-shaped humbuckers, both designed to bring out the bold, resonant tones that aluminium guitars are known for our pickups are crafted using high-quality materials like custom-made thick steel baseplates and premium coil wire. by default, every pickup is wax-potted in paraffin and beeswax to reduce unwanted noise and microphonics, delivering clear, punchy tones across all settings. we can also make your pickups unpotted by request

why do you use a truss rod?we use a truss rod so you can adjust neck relief and get the right setup for any string gauge. unlike most aluminium necks, ours are chambered – not just to reduce weight, but to make the truss rod actually work effectively. a solid chunk of aluminium is so stiff that a truss rod wouldn’t have a great deal of effect. by carefully chambering the neck, we keep it strong but add just enough flex so the truss rod can do its job properly, giving you maximum adjustability

will I need to pay import taxes or duties?yes, depending on your location, you may need to pay import taxes, duties, or vat when your guitar arrives in your country. these charges are determined by your local customs office and are based on the value of the guitar, which is listed on the shipping invoice it’s always a good idea to check with your local customs authority to understand the fees you might need to pay before placing an order. please note that these charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the price of the guitar
